About Greg

I was born and raised in Idaho Falls, Idaho and began my piano studies with both Ann and Jerry Shively and Jorgene Jensen. I later studied under Virginia Willard, during which time I spent a couple of years playing trombone with the Idaho Falls Symphony. I hold a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. I am immediate past president of the Eastern Idaho Music Teacher's Association which sponsors a competition every fall. I have played in many musical groups and ensembles in a variety of styles such as jazz, classical, Dixieland, and pop. After working as a software programmer for 15 years, I have integrated my musical talents with technology in my studio. I believe in making piano fun through the use of various computer and iPad apps that I have designed and written.
